1) Firmware (Audi MMI 3G Basic Firmware Update):
a) K0031 (8R0906961AA)
b) K0070 (8R0906961AH)
(c) K0206 (8R0906961BD)
(d) K0257 (8R0906961DK)
e) K0260 (8R0906961DP)

First, you need to know the current version of the firmware MMI.
"SETUP" - "Settings" - "Software version", or at the same time press SETUP + RETURN.
If the version is below K0031 - Then we update directly to K0031.
If the version above K0031 and below K0206 - then immediately update to K0206.
After K0206 updated to K0257 (K0257 the most "running" and tested firmware with which everything works fine).
And so we found out the firmware version (let's say we have the firmware version below K0031, for example P0022.) We take CDs with K0031 / K0206 / K0257 firmware, burn ISO image to CD, or use UltraISO for example to unzip ISO image to SD card.
Ultimately, on a disk or on a map, there must be
so for K0031
Proceed to update the firmware. Insert the disc / SD into our MMI.
until the version of your firmware appears:
and click Update
2. Choose the source from which we will be updated
3. We see the firmware version, to which we update click on it.
4. Choose the standard
5. We see a list of what we will have and what will not be updated. Go down and click Start download
6. Here we are told that the process should not be interrupted. Therefore, it is desirable to either start the car, or connect to an additional. power supply, to make sure that the battery does not sit down during firmware. If you are ready - then click Start
7. The upgrade process has started. During the upgrade, the MMI will reboot. The main thing here is without panic. The update takes about 15 minutes, maybe someone will take a little more.
8. And so the update was completed and we see the list. Opposite to each block should be either OK or -. Scroll down and click Continue
9. After that, you will see a window where you need to press "Abort documentation", as you update the firmware yourself without entering the dealer's SVM code and later you may receive error 03276 (how to delete it, described just above):
10. Check the firmware version and see that the version has been successfully updated!
So, we updated the firmware, now we start to update the cards:
When you unpack the downloaded archive, there will be two ISO images (these are files prepared for burning to DVD-it's the ISO image you need to burn to the disc). Next, we need to decide on what we will record, on an SD card or DVD:
1) If you selected SD, then using UltraISO pull out the files from the image and throw the root of the memory card (for 1 SD card - only 1 version of the cards).
2) If you selected a DVD, then we burn the image (I recommend using the ImgBurn program for recording) to the DVD + R DL 8.50 GB - I can add it myself, better write the cards to a DVD disc, since you will have two free SD slots to the music.
After recording, insert the disc with cards into our drive or SD card in either of the two slots. We press the navigation button and she sees the new version of the maps, asks to update them, which we do.
The cards will work for about 5 minutes and will be blocked, since activation is required by activator.
To do this, put the contents of the folder "Activation Audi MMI 3G Basic Nav 2017" in the root of the SD card. Next, insert the SD card with the activator. Clamp SETUP + RETURN, click Update, select the SD card and activate our cards (the procedure is approximately the same as updating the firmware - the sequence is the same). If something is not clear, see the file UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS 3G_BASIC, there everything is beautiful and understandable.
In the assembly there is also a disk with the language data (after it is installed Navi speaks Russian) - write to a simple CD, insert it into the drive and update the voice data package.
If you have a BOSE sound system installed. You can not update the Bose amplifier. Having updated BOSE - you can get many problems with subsequent settings and parameters of BOSE. What should be done?
Option 1 :
1. Remove all connectors and wires from the BOSE amplifier
2. Pull out the optics connector
3. Circle the pulled out optics connector with such an original pribluda - a plug with an optical ring for the optical bus MOST
